No wonder, for decades, people, mostly ladies have been debating, arguing, chatting, talking and guessing about"What actually is the Scottish guys wear under their kilt"? People could discuss and argue and finally make an educated guesses, but the truth was just already unveiled when a spring breeze on April 1997, during the daily ceremony of the lowering of the flag at Hong Kong War Memorial.
The Scottish Black Watch Regiment which arrived in Hong Kong in February 1997 is the last British unit to serve there until the July 1 transfer to the sovereignty of China. Seem, that there is no firm rules regarding under kilt apparel, nor wear nothing. So, it just a matter of practical and preference as well. It's human, isn't it ?
